We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Staff Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients in an acute setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to promote a safe and efficient patient experience.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Current RN licensure for the state where care is provided.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precautions, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment:
This position requires regular work in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing patient care and assignments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
