Job Summary:
MyCareersFuture is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping residents achieve their full potential and live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess the rehabilitation needs of residents, developing and implementing individualized therapy programs to improve their functional abilities.
- Monitor and review treatment plans regularly to ensure residents are receiving the best possible care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
- Train and supervise occupational therapy students, assistants, and junior staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Develop and implement training programs for caregivers to prepare them for residents' discharge back into their homes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' treatment plans and progress.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council.
- Full registration with the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council is preferred.
