Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
  • Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information and required documentation.
  • Maintain controlled medication and required documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
