Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. in Bluffdale, UT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of receiving, shipping, and inventory data entry for Dean/Fluor and government procured materials and equipment.
  • Work under direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor to support a government warehouse.
  • Utilize knowledge of Operations, Maintenance, and Repair industry tools and materials to perform logistics tasks.
  • Implement attention to detail in following logistics procedures and record-keeping.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate shortages.
  • Provide feedback for process improvement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience as Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position with one to three years of experience in logistics.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Valid driver's license and clean record.
  • Ability to pass Dean/Fluor driving authorization requirements.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized warehouse and material.
Working Conditions

The selected individual will be required to pass an extensive US government/federal government background check with no felony convictions and become eligible to achieve and maintain a security clearance.

The Material Handler will be responsible for controlling operations of a forklift and pallet jack and must have prior experience with safe forklift operations.

The selected individual must possess good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.

Applicants may be required to obtain or provide proof of flu shots or other vaccinations depending on customer requirements.
