The Estimator II will perform estimating on demolition drawings, ACM and Hazmat reports and drawings, and environmental remediation scopes of work. This role requires a strong understanding of market pricing and trends, as well as basic knowledge of all phases of estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform estimating on demolition drawings, ACM and Hazmat reports and drawings, and environmental remediation scopes of work.
  • Produce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for comparison with change order proposal submitted by prime contractors.
  • Obtain and present unit pricing data.
  • Responsible for outlining changes, clarifications and qualifications within an estimate.
  • Provide backup for estimates to be used during analysis, review, and negotiations.
  • Identify indirect costs and General Condition items within estimate.
  • Possess and apply knowledge of unit prices and the material/labor component of an estimate.
  • Produce manpower estimates to coincide with unit pricing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with market pricing and trends.
  • Basic understanding of all phases of estimating.
