Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, providing training and guidance to junior staff, and leading projects to improve laboratory efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-complexity laboratory tests and processes on patient samples or products
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff, including new graduates and experienced team members
  • Lead projects to improve laboratory efficiency and quality, including quality control troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Manage instrument operations, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laboratory regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or a related field
  • 4 years of accumulated laboratory experience, including 1 year of training and experience in the designated discipline or area of service
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a lead/senior tech/coordinator role or above in a clinical lab
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, or an equivalent certification with certified maintenance of continuing education through ASCP, AMT, or AAB
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified CAP Inspector Team Member
  • Ability to develop and present content to senior leaders and other groups
  • Demonstrated experience with change management, conflict resolution, and complex problem-solving
