**Job Title:** Heavy Equipment Service Technician
Roland Machinery Company is a family-owned heavy equipment dealership established in 1958, and today, it is one of the Mid-West's top heavy equipment suppliers. Representing over twenty-five heavy equipment manufacturers across construction, municipal, industrial, and forestry sectors, Roland operates in 5 states with 17 locations.
**Responsibilities & Duties:**
- Maintains client relationships through service, support, and guidance, offering solutions
- Tracks industry trends, market activities, and competition to suggest product improvements
- Ensures quality service by upholding organizational standards
- Stays updated on technical knowledge through factory training
- Contributes to team goals by achieving required outcomes
- Performs troubleshooting, repairs, and reconditioning of heavy equipment and components
- Presents a positive company image in appearance, conduct, and while using company vehicles
- Handles large diesel engine, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems repairs
**Qualifications & Skills:**
- High School Diploma/GED required; trade school degree or industry experience preferred
- Minimum of two full-time years of heavy equipment experience necessary
- Clean driving record and CDL preferred
- Must have a set of hand tools for hands-on tasks
