Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. This role involves producing high-quality radiographs (x-rays) that assist in the identification of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient safety by minimizing exposure to radiation.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines to execute imaging tasks.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a chief technologist or manager.
  • Utilize creativity and problem-solving skills to adapt to various situations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, whether hospital-based or a college degree.
  • Registration as a technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • A solid understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.

Experience: A minimum of two years in a similar role is preferred.
