Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a travel assignment focused on providing exceptional care in a Telemetry Unit. This role involves working with patients primarily dealing with respiratory and cardiac conditions, while also accommodating a diverse range of diagnoses.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is mandatory.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification as necessary.
  • State License Verification: Required for practice.
  • Tech Certification Verification: National certification as applicable.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for patients with a variety of conditions, focusing on respiratory and cardiac issues.
  • Participate in special procedures within the telemetry unit, collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and PCAs.
  • Manage patient care ratios in accordance with the RN/LPN/PCA model.
  • Care for the majority of patients, excluding those on ventilators and blood pressure support drips.
Work Schedule

This position involves a rotating schedule of day and night shifts.

Unit Specific Information

The telemetry unit is designed to accommodate a range of patient needs, utilizing a team of RNs, LPNs, and PCAs to ensure comprehensive care.

Additional Information
  • A government-issued photo ID is required for all personnel.
  • Certifications from AHA, ARC, or Military are acceptable.
  • BLS certification is required for all traveling nurses.
  • Additional requirements may apply based on specific unit needs.
