Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist II - Local CDL Driver/Crane Operator to join our team at SRS Distribution Inc. This role is responsible for delivering building materials to customers' places of business or job sites within a 200-mile radius of our home branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building materials to customers' places of business or job sites within a 200-mile radius of our home branch.
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck, comparing purchase orders and sign-off on delivery tickets.
  • Perform job site inspections and document any existing damage to lawn, landscaping, or driveway.
  • Capture pictures of all building products delivered in accordance with Company Policy.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Truck Crane Operation Certification a plus.
  • Ability to load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each off of a straight bed truck on a continuous basis.
  • Safe driving record with no hit & runs or no DWI or DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (21 years of age for positions that involve crossing state lines or transporting hazardous materials).
