Exciting Opportunity for a Hospitalist Physician

We are currently seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our esteemed healthcare team. This is a permanent position designed for individuals who are board certified or board eligible in internal medicine. The ideal candidate will manage an average of 17-20 patient encounters daily, including admissions and rounding.

Key Details:

  • Average census of 16 patients
  • Facility equipped with 131 hospital beds
  • 12-hour shifts with a schedule of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • 1 rounding day physician plus one Advanced Practice Clinician (APC)
  • 7 on / 7 off block schedule
  • Nights covered by APC

The daytime hospitalist will handle night telephone calls, while ICU beds are managed by intensivists during weekdays. The hospitalist team is responsible for night and weekend coverage, with rapid response and code management required. Ventilator management experience is also necessary.
