About the Role

The Yardperson provides critical support to blast crews and assists with on-bench operations. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to advance to a CDL Driver role, with Orica providing on-the-job training and necessary CDL schooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned PPE, maintaining a clean job site, and operating equipment safely.
  • Load and unload trucks, assist other team members, and operate mobile equipment on site.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks, including lubrication, maintenance, and minor repairs.
  • Organize stock and products within the warehouse and maintain accurate records of products.
  • Verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and condition.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of related work experience preferred.
  • Minimum age 18.
