About the RoleThe Yardperson provides critical support to blast crews and assists with on-bench operations. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to advance to a CDL Driver role, with Orica providing on-the-job training and necessary CDL schooling.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned PPE, maintaining a clean job site, and operating equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks, assist other team members, and operate mobile equipment on site.
- Assist with maintenance tasks, including lubrication, maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Organize stock and products within the warehouse and maintain accurate records of products.
- Verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of related work experience preferred.
- Minimum age 18.
