Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. As an IR Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Current BLS and ARRT certifications are required.
  • Job Details
    • Position/Specialty: IR Tech - ASAP Start
    • Shift: 4x10 Days 7a-5:30p
    • Years of experience required: 1 Year
    • First-timers accepted: YES
    • Weekend requirements: Call rotation (see call requirements)
    • Certs required: BLS, ARRT
    • Call requirements: Call is assigned an average of 10 days per month, which includes a weekend.
    • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: NO
    • Locals accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 70 miles from facility)
    • Pending license accepted: At manager's discretion
    • RTO restrictions: RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion.
    • Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed. Facility can low census/cancel 36 hours per contract.
    • Special requirements: Work experience with outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU required. Experience with PACS, C-Arm, Contrast, and Biopsies is required. Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, Abd, and Pelvis and upper/lower extremity is required.
    • Must be able to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils.
    • Must be able to use micro catheters and micro wires.
    • Must be able to use Snare Kits.
    • Must be able to use injector systems, preferably ACIST.
    • Epic experience is required.
  • Requirements
    • 1 Year experience required.
