About the Role

The Restaurant General Manager is a key leadership position responsible for the overall success of our restaurant operations. As a member of the Mas Restaurant Group team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, cooks, and management personnel. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer has a positive experience in our restaurant, including providing excellent service, managing customer complaints, and implementing initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's financial performance, including preparing budgets, monitoring sales and expenses, and making recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to restaurant staff, including onboarding new employees, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing training programs to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry and/or related field.
  • Certifications: Preferred: ServSafe Certification - Assistance and education is provided if not certified.
  • Skills: Energetic and excellent communication skills, practical/hands-on approach, ability to foster teamwork, provide daily coaching and feedback, manage budgets, train and develop staff, and analytical skills.
