Experience
- At least one (1) year of experience in custodial, janitorial, maintenance, or similar roles.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire.
- On-the-job training may include safety protocols and operational procedures.
- All candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
- Experience in a correctional or detention facility.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations or similar safety standards.

The following tasks represent the essential functions of this position:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in various County facilities.
- Utilize cleaning solutions and chemicals while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate and perform minor repairs on custodial equipment.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory supplies.
- Participate in training programs for custodial staff.
- Conduct inspections of assigned work areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to all facility users.
- Work effectively in a secure environment, which may include interaction with inmates.
- Be available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
This position may involve working in diverse settings, including indoor and outdoor environments, and may require contact with individuals in secure facilities.
