We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Canvasser in the Philadelphia area. As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for engaging with voters in their communities, discussing key issues, and encouraging them to participate in the democratic process.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct door-to-door canvassing in the Philadelphia area to engage with voters and discuss key issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with voters to build trust and encourage participation in the democratic process.
- Meet daily and weekly conversation goals to ensure effective voter engagement.
- Use a cell phone to track and submit data on voter interactions.
- Reliably transport yourself to and from canvassing locations.
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for long periods (up to 6 hours per day) while engaging with voters.
- Ability to memorize and recite scripts and statements prepared and provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with voters.
- Reliable transportation to and from canvassing locations.
- Hourly rate of $26-$28 per hour.
