Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician Trainee to join our team at PharmScript, LLC. As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy operations and ensuring the efficient processing of medications.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in processing returned medications and recycling/disposing of them according to established procedures.
  • Help in prepacking frequently ordered medications, labeling, and storing them as needed during low-volume periods.
  • Apply labels to blister cards or Artromick boxes and scan products for accuracy checks.
  • Alert pharmacists on duty to any medication/product that is not scanning properly.
  • Maintain designated workstation areas and replenish stock supplies as needed.
  • Comply with all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Experience in a distribution, order fulfillment, or pick/pack environment is desirable.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • May sit or stand for seven to ten hours per day.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently.
