Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Hepatologist to join our team at UTHealth Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and evolving the growth of our liver disease clinical program, expanding the liver transplant pool, and supporting clinical investigative programs within the Ertan Digestive Disease Center at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and UTHealth Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and evolve the growth of our liver disease clinical program
Expand the liver transplant pool and support clinical investigative programs
Develop relationships and clinical activities in partner facilities within the Memorial Hermann system
Develop between two to three new transplant hepatology clinics at target locations in the Texas Medical Center and the Houston area
Requirements:
M.D. degree
Board certified
Eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
Graduate of an ACGME hepatology fellowship program
