The Financial Services Associate plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service within the branch while achieving business goals. This position collaborates with the management team to ensure that sales, service, and operational targets are met. The Associate will adhere to all bank policies and procedures while actively engaging in the promotion of the Bank's diverse products and services.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers through the account opening process.
  • Engage customers in discussions to identify cross-selling opportunities tailored to their needs.
  • Prepare and process loan applications for various consumer lending options, including personal, auto, and home equity loans.
  • Manage the loan process from application to closing upon approval.
  • Direct customers to other banking services such as mortgage, commercial lending, and merchant services.
  • Provide consistent and exceptional customer service by following Centreville Bank's service standards.
  • Take ownership of the customer experience from start to finish.
  • Contribute to the Bank's overall objectives and success.
  • Actively participate in community events representing the Bank.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the team in daily operations.
  • Adhere to all Retail and Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain a strong attendance and punctuality record.
  • Assist in the daily operational tasks of the branch, including accurate cash drawer settlements, vault management, ATM oversight, and daily reporting.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cash handling, with a preference for sales and service experience.
  • Must be registered as a mortgage loan originator with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
  • Ability to embody the vision and values of Centreville Bank.
  • Strong understanding of current banking procedures and regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
