Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the kitchen area, including implementing production processes and managing food and labor costs.
  • Develop, mentor, and coach internal associates to ensure high-quality food service.
  • Implement systematic production methods, standardized recipes, portion control, and menu development.
  • Comply with client policies and regulatory agencies, ensuring a safe and healthy food environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending on formal degree or training.
  • Extensive catering experience, high-volume complex foodservice operations experience, and scratch cooking experience are highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, including quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Experience with computers, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
