Job Overview

The Warehouse Order Selector plays a crucial role in the logistics process by efficiently moving products from the loading dock to designated storage areas using a pallet jack. This position involves the manual lifting of merchandise to create stable pallet loads while utilizing an electronic headset for verbal order instructions, ensuring precision in selection.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour with the potential to earn an additional $4.00 through our attendance incentive program, along with other performance-based incentives.

Benefits: Available after a probationary period of 90 days.

Work Schedule: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during 2nd or 3rd shifts is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and select a variety of grocery, perishable, and general merchandise items from warehouse inventory.
  • Transport products throughout the facility using a pallet jack or forklift.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with varying temperature conditions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assist with various tasks as needed.
  • Foster positive working relationships by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Meet order selection performance standards regarding speed, accuracy, and minimal damage.
  • Ensure proper labeling of pallets to maintain organization.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse operations or with pallet jacks is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in order selection, shipping, receiving, or physically demanding roles is preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and physical capacity assessments.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting tasks.
  • Capability to work in temperature ranges from -20 to 80 degrees.
  • Availability to meet the required work schedule, including potential overtime, nights, holidays, or weekends.
