Job Title: Buyer

Join MAU Workforce Solutions, a leading global company providing staffing, recruiting, technology, and outsourcing solutions, as a Buyer in our Augusta, GA headquarters. As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in driving project success by managing quotations, negotiating purchase orders, and tracking critical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations to support equipment and rebuild projects
  • Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Master Scheduling to maintain project schedules
  • Offer exceptional customer service by addressing issues promptly and effectively
  • Continuously seek out new suppliers while maintaining expected pricing levels
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or 7+ years of relevant purchasing experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, purchasing/supply chain management
  • Strong experience within the heavy fabrication, foundry, or machining industry
  • Professional certifications in purchasing or supply chain management are a plus
  • In-depth experience in the Manufacturing Industry and a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts
