Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining a customer-friendly environment, and demonstrating solid product knowledge.
- Merchandising and Store Maintenance: Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping to ensure a visually appealing and well-organized store.
- Sales and Cash Handling: Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions, maintain proper cash accountabilities, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with store management and colleagues to achieve sales goals, communicate customer requests, and participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with retail computer systems, MS Word, and Excel is a plus.
- Personal Qualities: A commitment to service excellence, solid team player skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires the ability to lift, move, and handle up to 60 pounds frequently to stock merchandise, stand/walk for extended periods, bend, reach, lift, and climb.
