About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team at Sonepar. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electrical products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver electrical products to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other Sonepar locations.
  • Perform general warehousing duties, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Conduct daily pre-route vehicle inspections to ensure safety and vehicle readiness.
  • Ensure trucks are properly loaded, secured, and within weight limits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid Class A CDL driver's license and current DMV abstract.
  • DOT Medical Examiners Card.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Professional in appearance, communication, and actions.
  • Complete EDGE training within 90 days of employment.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Physical requirements include heavy lifting (70 lbs).
  • Warehouse environment and customer locations.
  • Driving delivery vehicle with GVW over 26,001 lbs. and powered industrial equipment (forklift, etc.).
  • Usual 40-hour work-week, Sunday through Thursday, with occasional afternoon, evening, and weekend hours required.
  • Requires regular and reliable attendance.
