Lead Aerospace Designer

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Lead Aerospace Designer on our team in Tucson, AZ. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for developing advanced one-shot devices technologies using scientific principles and theories.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply advanced scientific principles and theories to develop innovative one-shot devices technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support failure analysis and corrective action through redesign of failed components or systems
- Present design models and supporting analyses/test results to internal and customer review meetings
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- ~5 years' experience with technical engineering background, in the aerospace or government sector or Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in One-Shot component designs, ability to evaluate performance data, capable of evaluating MIL-DTL-23659 compliance
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
