Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented individual who can provide high-quality ultrasound services to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts procedures.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive array of sophisticated ultrasound procedures demonstrating appropriate anatomy under investigation.
- Independently provides technically optimal, thorough and accurate images for diagnostic assessment.
- Recognize and demonstrate critical findings such as deep vein thrombosis, ectopic pregnancy, aortic aneurysms or dissection.
- Assist physicians during other related procedures such as amniocentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, cath lab procedures, surgery, thrombin injection and compression for pseudoaneurysm.
- Analyze and demonstrate hemodynamics of extracranial, carotid arteries, and document per criteria and protocol.
- Registered Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration with Abdomen issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS).
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registration issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Associates degree in Allied Health or Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Science preferred.
- Typically requires 1 year experience in Abdomen and OB/GYN, and 1 year experience in Vascular exams.
