About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Buttermilk Family Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting thorough dental hygiene procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies to provide the highest level of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Kentucky
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
