Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at Lee Health. As a key member of our Echocardiography Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive echocardiographic studies, integrating various imaging modalities to obtain critical patient data for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform transthoracic echocardiographic studies, including M-mode, two-dimensional echocardiograms, color flow, pulsed wave, and continuous wave Doppler
  • Specialize in imaging enhancement agent, saline bubble, portable, stress echo studies, and assist with transesophageal echocardiographic procedures
  • Document patient data and echo exam information accurately using our current information management system
  • Assist in the orientation and training of trainees and visitors assigned to the Echocardiography Laboratory

Requirements

  • Graduate from a cardiovascular technology program or diagnostic medical ultrasound program
  • Extensive experience may substitute training
  • Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Echocardiography (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International in Echocardiography RCS
  • BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) certification
