Job Summary:

The Imaging Services department at WakeMed is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with our medical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of designated portions of the body.
  • Work under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
  • Accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Collaborate with our radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.

Requirements:

  • Clinical experience in radiology is preferred.
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology program or computerized tomography program is required.
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Sonography, or Computed Tomography is required.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position, with hours as needed. Weekend and call requirements are also as needed.
