Research Scientist

About the Role:

• Conduct laboratory experiments and analysis in support of molecular toxicology studies.
• Collaborate with Preclinical Safety Toxicologists and Pathologists to develop key in vitro platforms for investigating molecular mechanisms of toxicity.
• Develop and characterize 2D in vitro platforms focused on toxicology.
• Conduct routine in vitro screening assays for early drug candidates.
• Analyze and interpret relevant molecular toxicology data and communicate findings to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in cell/molecular biology, molecular toxicology/pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1-5+ years of experience in basic cell culture and cell biology endpoints.
• Practical knowledge of in vitro assay development and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis, interpretation, report writing, and communication.
• Familiarity with traditional scientific, statistical, and graphing software.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
