As a nurse in our Float Pool, you'll have the opportunity to work in various departments and facilities, including our sister hospital. Our Float Tier system ensures you're placed in a role that suits your experience and training.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Float Pool Nurse, you'll provide nursing care for patients in accordance with YRMC established policies, operating practices, guidelines, and national standards of care.
You'll be responsible for floating to appropriate levels of care in 1-2 facilities and will receive a 15% differential of the base hourly rate.
QualificationsTo be eligible for this role, you'll need:
- Two years of general RN care experience.
- Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.
- Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age.
- Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position.
Please note that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
