Senior Surveyor

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team in Norwalk, CT. As a key member of our survey department, you will be responsible for performing complex surveys, project management duties, and directing/supervising survey crews and technicians.

• Operate and manage various survey equipment, including GPS and SCS900 software, Total Station, and Level.
• Perform site setup activities, such as site calibration, level runs, and control checks.
• Conduct layout calculations using data collector and provide detailed field notes.
• Work independently on site layout tasks and update job as-builts as required.
• Oversee the work of others in validating and certifying related surveys.

• 10+ years' experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of surveying and heavy civil construction.
• Experience with Transportation Surveys (Road, Bridge) is preferred.
• Professional Licensed Surveyor in the State of Florida.
• Must be registered as a land surveyor in the State of Florida.
• Valid Drivers License.

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
