Position Summary:
We are in search of a dependable and meticulous Forklift Operator to become a vital part of our operations. In this role, you will handle a variety of responsibilities associated with loading and unloading goods, managing inventory, overseeing warehouse operations, and handling materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to transport liquid containers within the shipping and receiving sectors.
  • Conduct inventory management tasks, including receiving, counting, and documenting incoming shipments.
  • Utilize a warehouse management system to monitor and locate products throughout the facility.
  • Handle forklifts and other heavy machinery to move and stack materials as required.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Safeguard proper handling and storage of products to avert damage or loss.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse environment.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks as necessary.
  • Perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse shipping and receiving is essential.
- Proficient in operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical tasks as needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance are advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
