Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription filling, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.

• PTCB or ExCPT certification.
