Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

CorrectHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Dawsonville, GA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a correctional environment.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the clinical aspects of patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team and law enforcement. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Health Services Administrator (HSA), Mid-Level Provider, Physician, or administrative supervision, you will provide quality care and respond to the needs of patients within the correctional environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the clinical aspects of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing program.
  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Corrections experience a plus.
