Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Express. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and visual merchandising. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience and are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Oversee the visual merchandising of the store, including the creation of visually appealing displays and ensuring that the store is well-organized and easy to navigate.
  • Manage the store's inventory, including receiving and processing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring that stock is properly stored and displayed.
  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of sales associates, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities to drive business growth and improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement action plans to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, sales associates, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
