Job Title: Field Plumber

William R. Nash Group is seeking a skilled Field Plumber to join our team. As a Field Plumber, you will be responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping, fixtures, carriers, and equipment associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, soldering, and brazing.
  • Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
  • Review plans for compliance with local plumbing code and ADA requirements.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools or machines.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets.
  • Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
  • Install medical gas systems if certified and licensed.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of plumbing construction field experience.
  • Aptitude for math and attention to detail.
  • Journeyman's license in the respected trade is a plus.
