Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our outpatient physical therapy program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to address patient symptoms, activity levels, and medical status.
  • Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and promote functional activity.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Accurately document patient charges and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advance treatment techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist required.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
