Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide direct nursing care to our residents, while also supervising and assisting nursing assistants in their daily activities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and assist nursing assistants in their daily activities, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care to our residents.
  • Participate in facility surveys and inspections, ensuring that our center is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Review and update resident discharge plans, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care upon discharge.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. You must also demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of our residents. Additionally, you must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
