Job Description

At Pulsar Eco Products LLC, we believe in creating products that make people smile, help them organize their days, and capture cherished memories. Our products are playful, beautifully designed, trendy, and fun. We are looking for a Pre-Production Quality Assurance Specialist who shares our passion for detail and creativity. This role is key in ensuring our products are perfect before they reach our customers, blending a love for quality control with an eye for design and detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and proofread art files for accuracy, including text, layout, and design elements, ensuring they are free of grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors before submission to the factory.
  • Inspect pre-production samples upon arrival, checking for quality, assembly errors, and consistency with design files (using Adobe software) and artwork specifications.
  • Maintain organized records of sample tracking and update the sample tracker regularly, monitoring timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Manage the physical organization of samples, ensuring they are labeled, stored, and easily accessible for reference or sending to customers.
  • Communicate any discrepancies or quality concerns promptly to the factory and collaborate on solutions.
  • Provide detailed feedback on quality control issues, including those related to text or artwork inconsistencies.
  • Support the implementation of quality control standards and processes to enhance overall product quality.
  • Collaborate with design and product management teams to ensure that all content is polished, accurate, and meets Pulsar Eco Products LLC's quality standards and retailers' technical standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of quality control checks, including proofreading and sample inspections.
Requirements
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills, with a background in literary work, copyediting, or content review.
  • Experience in quality control or similar in a manufacturing or publishing environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors in both visual and textual content.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing samples, files, and tracking documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other project management tools.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Understanding of commercial printing and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and factory partners.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality concerns.
