Position Overview:

The role of Process Engineer for Injection Molding is essential for the design, implementation, and enhancement of injection molding procedures to achieve quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery for our clientele. This position operates under the guidance of the Process Engineering Team Lead within the Engineering division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design injection molding procedures and formulate comprehensive manufacturing work instructions
  • Facilitate continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing quality, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency
  • Mentor and instruct molding technicians on process enhancement techniques
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of expertise in plastic injection molding processes
  • Proficient in managing time and project tasks effectively
Performance Goals:
  • Understand and implement company quality system standards
  • Establish strong relationships with key team members
  • Support validation activities for injection mold tools and machinery
  • Develop and refine Injection Molding processes and protocols
  • Collaborate with project managers on project execution
  • Responsible for resolving tooling and process-related challenges
  • Achieve Master Molder II certification
  • Provide training for personnel involved in injection molding
  • Coordinate validation activities and communicate with project managers, tool manufacturers, and clients
