Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Hy-Vee. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of foods for our Market Grille.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a range of menu items, including hot and cold foods, to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that all cooking surfaces and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor food levels and replenish as necessary to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Be knowledgeable about all menu items and able to take customer orders with confidence.
- Previous cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues.
