Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Alta Bates Imaging and Mammography Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and mammography units, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Develop and process X-ray films to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • California State Mammography Licensure.
  • 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a clinical setting, with frequent exposure to radiation.
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • May be required to travel to multiple locations to perform imaging procedures.
