Job Title: RN Health Care Facility Surveyor

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a highly skilled RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join our team. As a surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of care provided by healthcare facilities across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
  • Evaluate various aspects of the healthcare facility system, including the quality of care, consumers' rights, and physical plant.
  • Communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel throughout the site review and during the exit conference.
  • Determine if a plan of correction is acceptable and conduct follow-up visits to ensure implementation.
  • Assist with facility and bureau training, as well as participate in work groups as needed.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
  • At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis.
