We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Delivery Assistants at United Parcel Service Inc. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the logistics industry and contribute to the success of our operations.

About the Role:

  • This is a seasonal position that requires flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • You will be working closely with our Package Delivery Drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages to customers.
  • The ideal candidate should be physically fit, able to lift up to 70 pounds, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ride along with Package Delivery Drivers to make deliveries on designated routes.
  • Interact with customers, respond to their queries, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist drivers in navigating through congested areas and traffic.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues or concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
