Industry Health Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Athletic Trainer to join our team. As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality occupational healthcare services to our clients in the protein processing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site clinical services to employees, including injury prevention, assessment, and treatment.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs to reduce workplace injuries and improve employee health.
- Collaborate with our team of clinicians to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our clients.
- Conduct ergonomic screens and provide recommendations to improve workplace safety.
- Advise medical teams on corrective measures to prevent injuries and improve employee health.
- Supervise and conduct wellness and fitness training programs for employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- BOC Certification/License in good standing in Michigan.
- Self-motivated and independent thinker with ability to work without direct supervision.
- Clinical competency in orthopedic evaluation skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills with individuals and in a group setting.
- Ability to evaluate low-level injuries and triage musculoskeletal complaints.
- Basic understanding of ergonomic principles to perform ergonomic screens.
- Ability to evaluate and determine root-cause analysis.
- Comfortable providing services in various work environments, including meat packing production facilities, warehouses, and occupational health units.
