Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Job Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a MRI Technologist with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coils close to the area of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
