Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Our pharmacy technicians are the face of our company, interacting with customers and developing strong relationships with patients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and maintaining accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information and medication lists.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification or training program completion preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
