About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Kenco Group. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate Forklift Equipment: Utilize powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution, including standard sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment.
  • Load, Unload, and Store Products: Load, unload, and store products and/or materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Stack and Transport Materials: Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.
  • Use Equipment to Scan Products and Print Labels: Use equipment to scan product and print labels as needed.
  • Complete Paperwork and Operate Inventory Management Systems: Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as required.
  • Ensure Product Rotation Procedures: Ensure product rotation procedures are followed to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Perform Daily Safety Inspections: Perform daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate and Report Incidents: Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum Two Years Forklift Operating Experience: Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience required. Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail required to ensure accurate and efficient warehouse operations.
