Responsibilities

  • Set tables in assigned rooms, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Know the menu for each function served and be able to answer questions from guests.
  • Follow timing procedures for serving each course, ensuring that food is served hot and promptly.
  • Greet and serve guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional service throughout the meal.
  • Keep station neat and clean during service, refilling beverages and removing items as needed.
  • Acknowledge and respond to all special requests, bringing them to the attention of the banquet supervisor as needed.
  • Use proper in-room clearing procedures to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Retain all service equipment in the banquet area for cleaning and proper storage.
  • Complete any assigned side work, including setting up and breaking down banquet rooms.

Qualifications

  • Be able to read Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and understand the layout of the banquet rooms.
  • Know all Banquet room locations and be able to navigate the area efficiently.
  • Set tables in assigned area correctly, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Greet and serve guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional service throughout the meal.
  • Use proper in-room clean up procedures to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Maintain a clean work station in the ballroom and help keep the back halls and storage areas clean and organized.
  • Retain all banquet service equipment, ensuring that it is clean and in good working order.
